Mission 1: A gift for Mum
And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his Parents, His mother bears him with hardship and she brings him forth with hardship. (46:15)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) was once asked: O Messenger of Allah, who among people is most deserving of my good treatment? He said: Your mother. The man asked twice more, Then who? And was given the same response. Only until the fourth time did the Prophet (peace be upon him) respond: Your father.

Introducing... NOGO CLUB!
A much cheaper version of Lego, Nogo provides a new affordable way for the kids to vent out their creativity and imagination utilising a rich variety of materials, and at the same time challenge their skills in handling real basic tools like hammers and drills.
Nogo’s building materials consist of industrial discards thus making it another fun and educational way to recycle. It will also increase the kids’ sense of responsibility when utilising materials like nails, super glue and other relatively adults-only things.
Using open ended learning approach, Nogo hopes to train the kids to use their imagination & to think outside the box, while at the same time enhance their problem solving skills as they discover the different qualities of the different materials while trying to accomplish the specific mission given to them in each Nogo session.
Each participant will be given a Nogo worksheet to complete by the end of each session. The worksheet contains the mission of the day, provides a space for the kids to draw their Nogo invention and list the materials they’ve used. Also included is the post-mortem section, where we get the kids to list down the challenges they had faced whilst completing their mission, and how they can improve their invention.
In order to add more meaning and purpose to the session, Nogo also seeks to instill some Islamic values relevant to the mission.
